Aurora Design Fusetm Video Capture Card
Review date: 6/13/98Hardware Specifications Intro | Installation | Configuration | Performance | Specifications | Summary Features and Specifications Although I was unable to verify the claimed maximum capture rate (9MB/Sec) or impressive compression rate (down to 2:1) I was impressed with the card's performance.
For a list of how the specs on the Fuse compare to the Media 100QX and Miro DC30, see Aurora's Fuse Comparison page (note - the Comparison link was not working currently but I've written them to fix the link on the Fuse page). Although it does not accelerate transitions or capture audio on-board, it seems to compare favorably otherwise to the more expensive Media 100QX card.
The next page is the review overall ratings summary.
