Game Performance
The Mac Rocket performed well in 2D games like Shadow Warrior and Duke 3D (and other games like Diablo I assume). These games typically run in 256 colors, and the framerate usually stayed in the high 20's to 40 fps. Due to a lack of Rave support in thousands color mode, I could not run Rave games like Quake, which don't run in millions color mode and failed to "find" a Rave card when the Mac Rocket was running in thousands color mode.

Rave Quake:
Failed. Needs Rave hardware driver support in thousands color mode to work.

Shadow Warrior:
The ProRez ran this game very well, even at 800x600 resolution (256 color mode game).

Duke Nukem 3D:
Although 3D is in the name, Duke is just a 2D, 256 color game (but a lot of fun). Again, speed was very good even at 800x600. Specific framerates were 32-40fps at 640x480, 20-25fps at 800x600 and 13-15fps at 1024x768.

Due to lack of Rave support in thousands color mode, I rated game performance a 6.

The next tests I ran dealt with movie playback.
