More feedback on ATI 3870 graphics card (After Effects/Motion user)
I've updated the reader feedback section of the ATI Radeon Mac/PC 3870 PCIe card review with another report - this one from a 2008 Mac Pro owner that noted improvements in After Effects and Motion over his previous Nvidia (8800GT) card which he said had issues with OpenGL acceleration with those apps. (He noted no problems with them using the 3870.)

Aurora Feint The Beginning 1.0.1.0 Update
iTunes app update check shows a 1.0.1.0 update to Aurora Feint The Beginning (free) - per apps store page v1.0.1.0 has "Massive frame rate improvements, Tons of bug and crash fixes". Hopefully this update fixed the freezing in the mining game when there's 2 tools vertically adjacent. (Not checked their forums for 1.0.1.0 details, I removed it from my iPhone after reading about v1.0's sending contact list to servers, unencrypted although that was corrected in 1.0.0.1. This serves as a reminder to not assume just because an app is at the iTunes store that it doesn't have any privacy or security issues. Some apps were pulled for things like this - see The iPhone App Store Rogues Gallery notes on Friend Book.)
