(copy of readme info)

Welcome to EyeTV 1.1.2!
Installation
System Requirements
EyeTV 1.1.2 requires Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar or later. Under Mac OS X 10.1.5, EyeTV will not launch and there is no warning alert. The previous version of the EyeTV software, version 1.0.6, works under Mac OS 10.1.5 and is included on the CD in the žDocumentation & ExtrasÓ folder.

If you are updating from any previous version of EyeTV, drag the old EyeTV application to the Trash. Drag the new EyeTV 1.1.2 application to your previous install location (or wherever you like), then launch the new software.

When you first launch EyeTV 1.1.2, you may be prompted to enter an administrator password. This authentication is required to enable the wake from sleep feature.

What's New in EyeTV 1.1.2?
Bug fixes
- Audio synchronization problems when re-editing a compacted recording have been fixed.
- An error -2014 when playing back some recordings has been fixed.

(Info on EyeTV 1.06 for 10.1.5)

Oni game patch for OS X Core Audio Issues
I don't own the game, but a reader post in the forums noted there's an Oni update at versiontracker to address problems with OS X core audio. The Oni 1.3.6 update is also at this Macupdate page which lists the following changes:

    Version 1.3.6 fixes the following:
  • Fixed bug #6131: Oni hangs or "freezes" (due to audio threads).
  • You can now configure the SoundChannelProcessorTimeoutInterval setting in defaults, which should let people tune that interval to eliminate skips. For now, changed the default value of that setting to 1/100th of a second rather than 1/20th, since bug #6980 says that sound stutters with the 1/20th second timeout.
  • Fixed bug #3080: Mouse speed not reset to original value after playing game. (This also affected the user's keyboard repeat settings.)

Release Date for Motu PCI-324 and PCI-424 Drivers for OS X
" hey mike- just noticed that Motu is _finally giving a release date for pci-342 drivers for osX:

    "Drivers for PCI-324 audio systems (2408, 2408mkII, 1224, 24i, 308, and 1296) will be available on February 28th, 2003"

This is from the Featured Links part at the top right of their page. I'd give you the url but they're using frames I guess.
matt "

Their main website home page is http://www.motu.com/ and they have a similar link/note for the PCI-424 OS X driver news in the Featured links sidebar. (Direct links to the announcment pages, which are sparse, are here (324) and here (424).)

AysMon 2.1 adds Printer Sharing monitor
(from their email press release over the weekend)

" AysMon 2.1 has been released. Changes in this version include:
- Added monitoring of Printer Sharing (IPP which is controlled by System Preferences->Sharing->Printer Sharing)
- Changes in the list of monitored services are now updated immediately
- The preferences window has been restored to its appropriate place under the application menu
Users upgrading from prior releases of AysMon should open the Edit->Monitored Services window to update which services to monitor.
AysMon is a no-cost utility for monitoring network related system resources such as open server ports, bandwidth, and disk utilization. System administrators and other expert users benefit from at-a-glance continuous monitoring of network services of the host system. End-users will find AysMon an effective way to monitor throughput on their DSL, Cable, PPP, or other network connections as well as providing a friendly display of disk space usage and key open network ports. The latter is important since you may have a network service running that unintentionally opens your system to attack by hackers. AysMon enables users to see at a glance if unintended services are running on their machine without having to learn anything about a command line interface or the Unix underpinnings of Mac OS X. "

If you've added a IDE, SCSI, Firewire or USB hard drive, CDRW, tape drive, etc. make sure you add a report to the database. (If you post an updated entry - make sure you use the same name, etc. as you did before so I can find your past entry. Thanks.)
(Incomplete entries are deleted. Do not post questions in the database, it's for drive reports not questions on what drive to buy - for that try searching the database for reports from owners of your mac model on the drive type/brand/interface, etc. you're interested in.)
