  • 2.0TB x 2.0TB OWC Rack Pro FW800/USB2 Redundant RAID-1 Mirror - $2079.99***
    ***Price after $120 Rebate

Prices are already very competitive before the rebate, so these Hitachi Mail-In Rebates just make things even more enticing yet. And of note, at least to me - cause I hate rebates in general - these are super simple, no hoops to jump through. Just take the cut off from the box or drive bag + copy of our invoice, mail-in, and back comes your rebate. None of the stuff where fine print makes it impossible, etc. Hitachi wants to reward for buying their drives/solutions with their drives from OWC. :)
    Best Regards,
    Lawrence R. O'Connor

    SuperDuper! 2.5 released (Leopard compatible)
For SuperDuper! users that have been waiting (a long time) for their promised Leopard compatible update, Shirt-pocket software wrote they've finally posted SuperDuper! v2.5

"We're happy to announce the immediate availability of SuperDuper! 2.5, the latest version of our popular disk copying utility for Mac OS X. 2.5 is fully compatible with Leopard, and produces fully bootable backups of the newest version of OS X. You can keep this on its own volume, or you can even store and Smart Update it alongside your Time Machine backups. We even let you copy your Time Machine backups to other disks, so you can back them up or upgrade to a larger disk without losing your history!

But we didn't stop with Leopard-specific features. 2.5 is still compatible with Tiger, and adds new features for everyone, including the ability to run a scheduled copy manually, preservation of spotlight indexes (and indexing status) on the destination, retention of the destination volume's special icon (if present), and many other tweaks. And 2.5 still includes all the other terrific features of 2.0, which improved on the acclaimed original in many ways, including: the ability to easily schedule backups; additional imaging options; more control over shutdown; better AppleScript support; hundreds of UI improvements; Growl support; and a completely rewritten, task-based User's Guide.

Of course, it still includes Smart Update, a great feature that updates a clone to exactly reflect any changes on the original in just minutes! It's a free update for existing customers. Copies will auto-upgrade, but you can also download now..."
