Any Cube Owners Looking for a Cube Radeon AGP Card?
I was shocked at what a recent reader's auction brought for a Cube Radeon OEM graphics card (over $300). I know they have been very hard to find for over a year now, but could not believe that it would bring that kind of price, even at auction. I've been asked if there's any current demand for a Cube Radeon AGP cards and I offered to post a question here. (I don't know what the price would be but it should be a lot cheaper than buying from auction.) If you're interested in buying a OEM Cube Radeon AGP card, let me know.

Radeon 8500 Q3 Tests in G4/533
In response to reader requests, I've updated the 2nd page of the first look at the Radeon 8500 AGP Mac Edition article to include a graph of Quake3/OS X performance in a dual G4/533 with one and two CPUs enabled in the game. I'll add results with the Geforce3, etc. later but posted this update immediately just to answer some G4/533 owner questions on Quake3 performance with the 8500 card.
I also some other tests planned (some I think you will find interesting) for the 8500 in a DP533 and DP500 systems and will update the article as they are done.
I did verify the issue mentioned in the article where ATI notes wake from sleep problems in OS 9.2.1/9.2.2 with Digital Audio/Quicksilver G4s (made before Fall 2001). The system deep sleeps but the monitor never wakes from sleep (it sees no video signal after the system wakes from sleep.) OS X 10.1.3 wakes from sleep fine with the 8500 installed.
