More Feedback on OWC SSD Firmware Update (541ABBF0): Updated reports Thursday to include 2 more Electra 3G owners with early 507 firmware and confirmation (screenshot) from Greg that his 2 Extreme Pro 6Gs show 541 firmware after update in his Late 2012 Mac Mini. (So far positive reports on updates used a USB flash drive although one owner (that said updater completed but SSD wasn't updated) didn't specify if he used a flash drive or updater burned to a disc. May not help but worth a try if a disc didn't work.)
I also updated Monday's post on Apple TV 6.1 Update info to include some description changes Apple on 3/13/2014. (For example a new Airplay feature requires a Generation 3 Apple TV.)
