| Reader Reports on OS X 10.2.2 Update |
I've posted a page of OS X 10.2.2 Update Reader Feedback. Notes/TIps on file system journaling are there, Norton Utilities owner reports that software doesn't recognize partitions after the update, reminders on OS X updates overwriting modified plugin files, a note that Yamaha CRW-F1 drive support (and Pioneer DVR-A05) was added, despite not being noted in the docs or at apple's itunes/compat. page yet. Also various reports on CPU upgraded older Macs.
Powerlogix sent a note that one Cube owner with their G4/800 (Single) CPU upgrade noted faster wake from sleep in 10.2.2. (From the comments it didn't sound like he had the common no video at all after wake from sleep reported in the CPU upgrades database here). If you had the wake from sleep problem fixed (or not) by 10.2.2 - let me know your system/upgrade details.
I'm also interested if older Mac owners with G4 CPU upgrades (or any upgrade that requires a Cache enabler) are working OK (with cache enabled) after the 10.2.2 update.

(I suspect searching VT or Macupdate may find some similar freeware, shareware or commercial utilities.)

You can find full owner reports (latest shown first) by searching the database by drive/brand/interface/mac models (the latest reports are shown first in searches).
For guides to installing CD/CDRW/DVD drives or Hard drives in many mac models, see the IDE Articles page. The Firewire articles page also has guides on case kits, installing drives, etc. If you've added a IDE, SCSI, Firewire or USB hard drive, CDRW, tape drive, etc. make sure you add a report to the database. [If you post an updated entry - make sure you use the same name, etc. as you did before so I can find your past entry. Thanks.]
(Entries today will be added the following newsday. Incomplete entries are deleted. Do not post questions in the database, it's for drive reports not questions on what drive to buy - for that try searching the database for reports from owners of your mac model on the drive type/brand/interface, etc. you're interested in.)
