Rev app for iPhone/iPod Touch (automotive performance app w/ECU interfacing potential)

Dimitrios sent a note there's a competitor for Dynolicious called Rev with performance measurements plus the capability (with an OBD-II to Wireless adapter) of interfacing with the car's ECU for diagnostics (read/reset codes) and more. It also has support for the GPS (tracking) in the iPhone 3G. Full functionality (ECU related features) requires an OBD-II to Wireless interface although the metrics (performance measurements similar to Dynolicious) do not. For complete details see the Rev home page. The full version will be available soon but a free Rev Lite version is available now at the Apps store.
