Need Help? You've come to the right place!

The following is a list of topics and reader volunteers that specialize in one or more areas of Mac hardware and/or software. The MIM Bios page outlines their experience and tells a little about them.

Important: Remember that the Answers to Common Questions page (Quick answers to hundreds of questions on almost any topic) and Forums) are a great source for answers to your technical support questions. Always check there first and the Site Topics page (links to reviews of CPU upgrades, Systems, SCSI/IDE/Controllers, Graphics Cards and much more). Otherwise use this page to select your problem area and contact a MIM for help.

By using this great resouce pool you will allow me to add more reviews and other content to this site. Thanks for your support and thanks to all the volunteers!

This page is always under construction, so sub-topic links may not be functional yet
If not, simply scroll down to see all topic areas.

Note: Please list your specific Mac model, OS version, any 3rd party extensions, driver versions etc. in your mail for help. Be as specific as possible on details of the problem and your system/software/configuration. This is critical in determining possible causes and solutions and will help the MIM to provide more accurate answers.

Disclaimer: All alterations to hardware and software is done at your own risk. When in doubt you should consult with Apple service or see your nearest authorized Apple repair center. The MIM do not imply that they are able to handle all possible problems over e-mail. They wish to function more like a resource and offer suggestions based on experience with Macintosh hardware and software.
