I have a Newer 400 in a 9500 with a Radius ThunderColor 30/1152, DPT
SCSI II card, ATI VR, Bravado 1000, Jaz/2x4xCD-R, 4.5G Quatum AtlasII
internal, 1G Inernal, 1.2G Quantum external, Deltis 230 MO external,
240MB RAM, Apple 20" Multiscan, 17" NEC 5Fg monitors and am running both
7.6.1 and 8.0fc2 (testing only for now, but I'm real close to switching
completely). I have'nt had any problems that I can attribute to the dual
processor card. In fact the only weirdness that I've come accross is
that with OS8 the Truevision Bravado 1000 software will keep the
Multiprocessing libraries from loading giving an out of memory message.
The machine is on pretty much 24/7. With the 9500 I don't have a cache
option:( so the 512k soldered to the motherboard is the only way to go
there and as far as the RAM it really isn't matched up too closely a
couple of 64s, 2 8s, 3 32s, so the 64s, the 8s and 2 of the 32s are
interleaved.
