v7.4.1 Firmware Update for 802.11N Airport Extreme Bases and Time Capsules
I just applied the new firmware update (v7.4.1) tonight using the recent Airport Utility 5.4.1 update. My Gigabit Enet 802.11N AE base had firmware v7.3.2 previously.
(Update: As of Mar. 11th, I've twice lost the wireless network (not client related - affected OS X and Vista machines). Cycling power (waiting 30sec) restored it, but curious if anyone else has had any issues with this update over time. 99% of the time it's been fine, but previously (24/7 use for years) I've never had this happen with this base.)
Here's info on v7.4.1 changes/fixes:
For AirPort Extreme (Early 2009) and Time Capsule (Early 2009) that ship with firmware 7.4, the firmware 7.4.1 update:
  • Resolves an issue in which a client computer may be disconnected when waking from sleep
  • Addresses an issue in which redirecting SMTP port services may disable IP-layer networking
  • Improves the reliability of Back to My Mac-based disk sharing
  • Includes recent AirPort security updates

For AirPort Extreme with 802.11n (Fast Ethernet), AirPort Extreme with 802.11n (Gigabit Ethernet), AirPort Express with 802.11n, and original Time Capsule models, the firmware 7.4.1 update:

  • Enables remote administration and remote access to compatible USB connected drives via Back to My Mac (except on AirPort Express)
  • Improves reliability when backing up to a Time Capsule via Time Machine
  • Includes recent AirPort security updates

Apple's also posted a doc About the security content of Firmware 7.4.1. (Added these docs to today's doc updates listing below which has a couple others that are Airport related as well.)
Update: I've posted a page on with Feedback on the 7.4.1 Airport Base/TC Firmware Update with notes on intermittent problems I've seen as well as many others. (Some users reverted back to previous firmware.)

Review of new Mac Mini (2GHz C2D/9400M)
Cnet has posted a 2 page Review of the new Mac Mini 2GHz Core 2 Duo, giving it an overall rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars. Includes a direct feature/specs comparison to the Acer Aspire X1700-U3700A and some performance test results (PShop CS3, iTunes, MM, Cinebench) vs several low-cost PCs. Also has some very short/general comments on Quake4 performance with the new model's 9400M (although not a 3D powerhouse, definitely a step-up from the previous mini's Intel GMA graphics).
