Status of (Ximeta) NDAS Drivers for OS X
Some readers asked if I knew about any Lion compatible driver update for NDAS drives that were sold by OWC/NewerTech and others. I wasn't sure if there were any later drivers (or work on them) as I think they were EOL'd some time back but asked OWC. Here's the reply:
This is the current status: (from Ximeta drivers page)
(last mac post there dated Aug 24, 2011)
"MAC OSX Lion and 10.6.7, 10.6.8 Release
NDAS for Snow Leopard 10.6.7 & 8 and for MAC Lion has become unstable.
Development has been notified and IOCELL Networks is in the process of reviewing the required updates."
(Below that they also note)

Almost 7 months since that last post date. As of today the latest (not new) Mac downloads are NDAS software v1.8.4 for OS X Snow Leopard 32bit ("until version 10.6.6") and OSX 10.3 - 10.5. (Farther down there are older/previous versions.) Added this to the Mac user reports on NAS page also.
