"This driver does not support GeForce GTX980 and GTX970. Please download the equivalent CUDA 6.5.32 which supports GeForce GTX980 and GTX970"
They didn't include a CUDA 6.5.32 download page link there but see above here.
I'm not using an Nvidia card/Yosemite to check but hope one day they ensure CUDA updates have support for the latest OS X Yosemite Nvidia graphics driver without having to edit CUDA files. (A later user post said it solved the CUDA Update required issue with the 343.01.02 graphics driver but noted other graphics issues in OS X Yosemite.)
(Update/FYI: See Dec. 22nd news posts for notes on a later 343.02.01f01 Yosemite graphics driver that (again) breaks CUDA (6.5.33) support. Page also includes link to Download the previous 343.01.02 driver and CUDA Edit tips to work around the problem with later/unsupported graphics drivers.)
